The 2016 Quiz Olympiad had 12 Specialist Subject quizzes - 6 x High Brow (HB) and 6 x Populist (P). Players could only take part in a maximum of 6 subjects.

The quizzes are in two halves, each of 25 questions.

This quiz includes movies and movie making, art house as well as populist. Awards, studios (majors and independents), producers, directors, cinematographers, performers, costume design, music (themes, diegetic and non-diegetic).
